I want a wife

How accurate was the “I want a wife” piece? The "I Want a Wife" piece which is written by Judy Brady is obviously a satirical piece of work that attempts to show gender roles and expectations for women within marriage. However, its solely catering to a feminist audience, so wont she just have a biased opinion? Brady’s entire piece is basically just criticizing men while empowering women in an attempt to lie about everything wife’s do. Yes, some of the things she says is true but if you combine everything she says and look at it logically it seems highly unlikely that a wife does all of what she says. Brady portrays the role of a wife as a gruesome task where they sacrifice their entire life to server under their tyrannical ogre of a husband. She provides unreasonable standards of what a wife does and makes it out to seem that every wife is perfect and hardworking while they slave away under their husbands just to be “replaced” if a “more suitable wife” appears. She says that

Lego

Most of you have probably owned a Lego set, or at least heard about Lego. Legos are basically Americas dream toy, with it consistently being one of the most popular and most s old toys to this day. As a kid I would always beg my parents to buy a new Lego set, I’m not goanna lie I was pretty obsessed with Lego. However, it wasn’t until I was older that I realized how overpriced Lego was, like twenty dollars for a mere 200 pieces of plastic? The Lego corporation takes advantage of its consumers because they market Lego as a “one of a kind toy” that crushes all of its blocky competitors. Yes, these tiny pieces of pieces of plastic are cool, but are they really worth the price. Lego has grown its wealth by practically scamming its community, they make so much profit by spending a small portion on plastic, molding it, and then reselling it for prices 10 times greater than what the plastic is worth. It’s gotten to the point where 1 mystery figure (approximately 12 pieces of plastic) cost

Myth buster (q7)

Who is a better parent, a mother? A father? Or is it both? It’s a common misconception that men cant raise children, and women are simply better at raising children. However in this mini-essay I will debunk this false ideology and prove that men are capable of raising children. In fact if we isolate the two genders and compare single mothers vs single fathers, we can actually see how good males can be at raising children. Children from single mothers are 5 times more likely to commit suicide, 9 times more likely to drop out of high school, 10 times more likely to abuse chemicals, 14 times more likely to commit rape 20 times more likely to end up in prison, and 32 times more likely to run away from home. Not only that but 70% of teen pregnancies and child murders stem from single mother holds (huff post). This displays the crucial role that men play in the upbringing of children, which challenges the misconception that men are can’t properly raise kids. This means that men are equal
