Short-form content has cooked me

  To be honest, I’m not sure what makes me laugh anymore. I’ve been consuming so much short-form content that I feel like I’ve lost the meaning of what what truly m akes me laugh . I have relied on what’s trending on social media for so long now, it has complete control over what makes me laugh.  This short form content hasn’t just been from the Tiktok and Instagram era. It started back when I was in elementary school. Back then, it was those Vine videos and “try not to laugh” challenges. Those moments of instant dopamine release where fun, but now, it feels like that constant quick humor has overpowered my authentic feelings for humor. Obviously, I still have good hearty laughs with my friends and family, but besides that, there isn’t one specific thing that will always make me laugh. Attack on titan is peak fiction

During quarantine, when I would just rot in my house playing Valorant and watching tik tok; I would keep seeing these edits about Attack on titan. People kept calling it “peak fiction”, and because I had nothing better to do with my life, I decided to watch it. After watching it I can confidently say Attack on Titan is the epitome of peak fiction. From the very first episode to the final season, it is continuously reinvents itself in different ways. What makes the structure of Attack on Titan so compelling is how each season feels distinct, yet all of them are intricately woven together to form a complex and layered narrative. In the beginning, Attack on Titan begins is a pretty cliche survival story: humanity is trapped within walled off cities, where they have to live life in fear of the man-eating titans.
